\nMarek Rajca began his professional journey working alongside legends of Polish cinematography, such as S\u0142awomir Idziak (King Arthur, directed by Antoine Fuqua) and Pawe\u0142 Edelman (The Pianist, Oliver Twist by Roman Polanski, All the King’s Men by Steven Zaillian). He was gaining experience as a cinematographer on documentary films and television theatre productions, working with distinguished filmmakers such as Andrzej Wajda, Izabela Cywi\u0144ska, Márta Mészáros, and Marek Piwowski. His feature-length debut as a cinematographer was Jan Hryniak's The Third (2004).<\/p>\n
\nRajca returned to feature filmmaking with Wolka (2021), directed by Árni Ólafur Ásgeirsson. The film received multiple nominations at the EDDA Awards, hosted by the Icelandic Film and Television Academy, including one for Best Cinematography.
\nFor many years, Marek has been successfully working in advertising, shooting a variety of commercials that showcase diverse styles and high levels of complexity, such as automotive, sports, and high-quality tabletop commercials.<\/p>\n
\nHis recent feature works include the Canal+ tv series Emigration XD (2023) and Education XD, both adapted from the novels of Malcolm XD and directed by \u0141ukasz Ko\u015bmicki.<\/p>\n
