His artistic path began at art college, continued through studies in graphic art at the Fine Art Academy in \u0141&oacute;d\u017a, and ultimately led him to the Cinematography Department of the \u0141&oacute;d\u017a Film School.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">He started his career as a camera operator, working alongside renowned cinematographers such as Artur Reinhart, Dariusz Kuc, Krzysztof Ptak, and Edward K\u0142osi\u0144ski. He has since collaborated with some of Poland&rsquo;s most prominent directors, including Jan Komasa, \u0141ukasz Palkowski, and Xawery \u017bu\u0142awski, as well as the legendary satirist Stanis\u0142aw Tym.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Marian&rsquo;s cinematography has earned him multiple accolades. He was nominated for both the Polish Film Award and the Polish Society of Cinematographers Award for Warsaw &rsquo;44 (dir. Jan Komasa). His work on Snow White and Russian Red(dir. Xawery \u017bu\u0142awski) won the Main Prize in the Polish Films Competition at Camerimage, the Audience Award at OFF PLUS CAMERA, and recognition at ERA New Horizons. Earlier, he won the Best Cinematography Award at the Gdynia Film Festival for Station (dir. Piotr Were\u015bniak).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">His feature credits include Listy do M 4, Bird Talk, My Name is Sara, and Everyone Knows Better, as well as acclaimed TV series such as Stulecie Winnych, Wojenne dziewczyny, and Pu\u0142apka. The series Behawiorysta, shot by Marian, was nominated for Best Feature TV Series at the Polish Film Awards 2022. His work on Xawery \u017bu\u0142awski&rsquo;s horror Apokawixa was enthusiastically received at the Polish Feature Film Festival in Gdynia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">His latest feature, Kulej. Dwie strony medalu (dir. Xawery \u017bu\u0142awski), tells the story of legendary Polish boxer Jerzy Kulej. The film was nominated in the Polish Films Competition at Camerimage 2024, received multiple nominations for the Eagle &ndash; Polish Film Award, winning the Audience Award, and was honored with the Golden Kangaroo at the 49th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia.
