Filip Pasternak is a cinematographer for whom storytelling through visuals is paramount. Although he initially studied computer science, he quickly found his calling in the world of film. He graduated from the Warsaw Film School, where he now lectures.<\/p>\n
He is the cinematographer behind the hit series “Control” (four seasons, over 80 million views, available on Max) and the Storytel film “Random” starring Maciej Musia\u0142owski and Julia Wieniawa. His portfolio also includes music videos for artists such as Ka\u015bka Sochacka, Kortez, Dawid Tyszkowski, and Gedz.<\/p>\n
Filip has worked on numerous short film projects, including “Przez Ciebie Po Tobie” (From You) directed by J\u0119drzej Gorski, which won the top prize at the Florence Film Festival, premiered at the Kraków Film Festival, and received accolades worldwide. As a camera operator, he has collaborated with acclaimed filmmakers like Andrij Parekh (Succession), Derek Cianfrance (Blue Valentine), Marian Prokop, Jakub Stolecki, and Mitja Okorn.<\/p>\n
He was nominated for the prestigious PSC Award (2023) and the Heliograf Award at the M\u0142odzi i Film Festival in Koszalin. Filip has also shot commercials for brands such as Modivo, Pocztex, Carrefour, Netflix, Vectra, and Apple.<\/p>\n
