\nKarol is cinematographer who loves telling stories and tries to make them beautiful and touching. He thinks every story deserves specific film language, that suits and highlights most important aspects of the plot. He enjoys finding it and working to make it consistant.<\/p>\n
His biggest passion is making short films \/ feature. He made several short films, among others "7-my sierpnia" and "Wykl\u0119ty" which was nominated to "Z\u0142ota \u017baba" at Camerimage Festival. In this project Karol had chance to work with amazing Polish actors like: Janusz Chabior, Adam Woronowicz, Cezary Pazura, Artur Barci\u015b, Marcin Kwa\u015bny, Piotr Cyrwus, Marek Siudym, Wojtek Niemczyk and many others. In his portfolio Karol has got commercial for Robert Lewandowski and projects for clients such as Multisport, National Geographic, Universal Music Polska, Sony Music Poland, Warner Music, Kayax, Imagepro, Pascal Lab, OFF Festival, Open'er Festival, TVN, Barlinek.<\/p>\n
As DoP Karol worked for music artists such as: Dawid Podsiad\u0142o, Two Door Cinema Club, Low Roar, Artur Rojek, Behemoth, O.S.T.R, Mrozu, Daria Zawia\u0142ow, Westerman, Hades, Kwiat Jab\u0142oni, Grzegorz Hy\u017cy, Afromental, Kasia Lins, Ralph Kami\u0144ski, Zakopower, Doda, Lady Pank, Bednarek, AK Patterson, Bilon HG, Kasia Popowska, Leski. He worked as Director of Photography on the feature documentary "Zasada" directed by Micha\u0142 Bolland – story of Sobieslaw Zasada – the European multi-champion rally driver and Polish legend, who at the age of 91 is trying to break the Guinness record as the oldest rally driver by taking part in the famous Safari Rally in Kenya.<\/p>\n
His music video for BOKKA’s Walk On Fire was nominated in the Music Videos Competition at Camerimage 2022.<\/p>\n
Most recently, Karol completed cinematography on the English-Polish feature film The Partisan, directed by James Marquand, which tells the story of Krystyna Skarbek—a British spy and reputed inspiration for James Bond’s first love. The film stars Morgane Polanski in the lead role, alongside Piotr Adamczyk, Agata Kulesza, and Piotr G\u0142owacki.<\/p>\n
