Maciek is a natural leader, an alpha male, but his barbarism is tender. He is sensitive to the beauty of images and words. Music makes his world go round.
He aims for emotionally engaging, humane stories that do not revolve around violence or unnecessary evil. He prefers a subtle sense of humour to slapstick. He values visual narration that serves the purpose.
Going against the flow is Maciek's default mode, but he tries to keep his ego in check. He eagerly engages in building teams that work well and tear down the walls. For him, the glass is always half-full, and he wishes to enjoy every sip of that drink.
Directing through intimidation and terror is not his thing. Still, Maciek is confident and very precise in getting his way effectively. Even if tensions are natural to the film process, Maciek strongly believes that the right atmosphere encourages better results.
So far, he has directed TV series and documentary films (such as "Unknown" about Robert Lewandowski, the footballer). In advertising, he has worked for some of the biggest ad brands globally and at home, receiving dozens of awards in various forms, including lions, owls and other animals and items, such as pencils and swords.
When not shooting, Maciek is busy developing feature and documentary film projects and TV series, always hoping for the great beauty. He continuously nurtures his curiosity about people and the world around him. The sparkle in the eye, the corner of the mouth lifted in a smile. This is an attitude Maciek hopes to champion every day.
